Brave has spent more than 25 years in complex civil and criminal law enforcement and litigation, including several years as Chief of the Intelligence and Investigative Operations Unit in the Department of Justice's Office of Criminal Operations in Washington, D.C. In the position, he oversaw a number of highly sensitive law enforcement programs. At the same time, he was the Deputy Director of International Operations for the Federal Witness Security Program, where he coordinated the external aspects of the program.
